Pumpkin Patch in Arvada, Colorado

Our pumpkin patch is open for its third season at Finding Nectar Nursery — a small, pesticide-free plant nursery and garden center on Highway 72 in Arvada, about twenty-five minutes from Denver, Golden and Boulder. Come pick from bins of carving pumpkins, pie pumpkins, heirloom and jumbo varieties, gourds and corn stalks.

Pumpkin patch hours

Friday, September 18 onward Friday–Sunday, 9AM–3PM — pumpkin season hours
Saturday, October 24 12 Noon–6PM — Fall Festival, open late

We are closed Monday through Thursday once pumpkin season hours begin on September 18. If you have always come out on a Wednesday or Thursday, that is the change to know about.

Fall Festival — Saturday, October 24

Saturday, October 24 · 12 Noon – 6PM · $20 per vehicle

Pumpkin patch, baby animals, face painting, hay rides, live music and much more. The nursery stays open until 6PM that day, three hours later than our usual close, so there is a whole afternoon in it. Admission is charged per vehicle, not per person — bring the whole carful.

What you’ll find in the patch

  • Carving pumpkins — small, large, fancy and jumbo, plus true jack o’lantern and Atlantic Giant varieties.
  • Pie pumpkins — small, sweet and built for baking.
  • Gourds — birdhouse gourds, swan gourds, and mini gourds by the bundle for autumn decorating.
  • Corn stalks — for the porch, the door, or the hay bale display.
  • Carving kits — so you are not fighting a kitchen knife on Halloween eve.

More than pumpkins

While you are here, come meet the animals — they are always glad of the company. You might also get a free taste of our honey, straight from the hive. If you are already thinking about next spring, our Colorado native perennials go in the ground beautifully in autumn.
